Nossa brother Alice Martins está lutando por uma causa muito nobre. Atravavés da arte, a fotógrafa está buscando fundos para a produção de um ensaio fotográfico em Gaza, para auxiliar o projeto Gaza Surf Club melhorar a vida de jovens residentes no local. Segue a cara aberta da artista.

Aloha pessoal!

O Gaza Surf Club é um projeto incrível que está mudando pra melhor as vidas dos jovens em Gaza, e eu quero ajudar o projeto a crescer ainda mais, beneficiando mais pessoas todos os dias.

Como fotógrafa colaboradora da organização não-governamental Surfing For Peace, eu ainda não tive a oportunidade de visitar o projeto. Por isso decidi ajudar da melhor maneira que posso – arrecadando fundos com a venda de ampliações das minhas fotos para cobrir as despesas com a minha própria viagem até Gaza e a produção de um ensaio fotográfico que vai certamente ajudar a tornar o projeto mais conhecido e ganhar maior apoio. A ideia é passar algum tempo lá com os participantes do projeto e depois de conseguir material suficiente, realizar uma exposição fotográfica que vai ser mostrada em outros países.

Aloha everyone!

The Gaza Surf Club is an awesome project which is definitely making the lives of many kids in Gaza much better, and I want to help the project grow even more, reaching and positively affecting one more person everyday.

As a contributing photographer for Surfing 4 Peace, I still haven’t had the opportunity to visit the project. So this is why I decided to help the best way I can – by raising funds with the sale of my photographs to help cover the costs of my own trip to Gaza, and the production of a photo essay about the project which will definitely help raise awareness (and more funds for the project). The idea is for me to visit the project in the next few months, and after gathering enough material, put together a photographic exhibit that will be shown in other countries.
